I'm a novice, which means 1st year debater.
I'm the champion in the city of Chicago, because I'm cool like that.
If you want to succeed you have to go to debate camp.

Five weeks of nonstop debating.
Some people think it's crazy to debate, but I disagree. It's the most time consuming thing that you could choose to do, but it's worth it 100%. While most high schooler's are sleeping in and hanging out on weekends, debaters are waking up at 5 AM and staying out until 10 PM or later debating. You spend hours researching, cutting cards, and practicing all in hopes to be number one. Even if you're not, it's okay. The people that you meet in debate are some of the most fun people that I know and even if I don't win they're there to support me.
